Waterbury is built on immigrant contributions. We support policies that protect immigrant communities and provide pathways to citizenship.

• Increase funding for Language Learning programs for the immigrant community of Waterbury.

• Develop and pass legislation for Municipal Buildings and School Departments to providing ordinances and rules on I.C.E.

• Stand firmly with the rights and laws of immigrants and due processes and stand firmly against unlawful and unjust ICE Raids and pass local legislation to ensure the immigrant community knows that Waterbury Democrats and the City of Waterbury are with them.
